Kimberly Bennett Murray, Licensed Social Worker, joins Harbor House Rehab and Nursing Center

HINGHAM, MA – Harbor House Rehab and Nursing Center is proud to announce and welcome Kimberly Bennett Murray, LSW, as the center’s director of social services. Murray will work in partnership with the building’s leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the social work department; including providing admission assessments, care plans and managing discharge plans in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Murray, who holds a degree from Gordon College, has over twenty-five of experience working with patients and their families in a variety of health care settings. In her previous role as director of Visiting Angels Home Care in Marshfield, MA, Murray provided client assessments and ongoing family and client clinical support. She managed new program development and offered strong staff leadership.

Murray is also a passionate public speaker and educator; she has presented locally and nationally on topics surrounding Alzheimer’s disease, caregiver resources, and navigating the complex healthcare system for seniors. Murray looks forward to bringing her educational workshops to Hingham.
