Position Name: Part Time Activity Assistant 16 hours per week

PART TIME ACTIVITY ASSISTANT 16 HRS A WEEK
Utilize the environment to promote both comfort and stimulation to the resident population. Engage individuals in small and large group activities effectively. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this facility. Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director. Oversee residents engaged in scheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents by applying experiences in activities and knowledge of diagnoses and conditions of residents.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with residents, family members and with other departments within the facility.
