Data-backed actions improve the patient experience and boost referrals
BaneCare delivers skilled nursing care across Massachusetts. They’re focused on continually improving the patient experience, and saw an opportunity to do so after reviewing the results from their patient admission and discharge surveys. In particular, they found that patients were uncertain of what to expect during their stay. To mitigate this, the team created a What to Expect sheet, which staff could review with patients upon admission. This led to a 23% boost in patient satisfaction, and, equally impressive, 98.7% of patients said they would recommend BaneCare. The nursing home can promote their remarkable patient satisfaction with referring hospitals to increase business.
