Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Awarded Joint Commission Nursing Care Center Accreditation

DUXBURY, Mass. (July 14, 2026) – Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a locally owned skilled nursing and rehabilitation center providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized clinical services to the South Shore community, has earned Nursing Care Center Accreditation from The Joint Commission, an independent, evidence-based standards-setting organization that establishes the benchmark for safe, high-quality patient care through healthcare accreditation.
This achievement formally recognizes Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s ongoing commitment to meeting rigorous performance standards while delivering exceptional, compassionate care to its residents and patients.
Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite survey conducted by The Joint Commission. During the visit, surveyors evaluated the center’s compliance with nationally recognized standards in key areas including infection prevention and control, medication management, emergency management, environment of care, leadership, quality improvement, and resident safety.
“Achieving Joint Commission accreditation is a reflection of the dedication, professionalism, and compassion our entire team brings to work every day,” saidKristen Reilly McHugh, Executive Director of Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. “Our staff is committed to providing exceptional care in a safe, welcoming environment, and this recognition reinforces our promise to residents, families, and the community that quality and continuous improvement remain at the heart of everything we do.”
