At BaneCare, our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our residents, patients, employees and family members.  During this time of elevated vigilance due to the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) outbreak, we appreciate your patience and support as we strive to take steps to keep our residents safe. We know how hard it is to have limited contact with your loved one. Some ideas for alternative communication methods, when face-to-face contact is restricted:

  • Compose a handwritten note or card – who doesn’t like to receive a personalized card or letter from someone they love?
  • Telephone your loved one.
  • FaceTime for iOS – if resident has an iPhone.
  • Mobile Skype for iOS and Android –if resident has an iPhone or Android phone with Skype Mobile app installed.
  • Laptop via Skype – Many facilities have dedicated resident laptops or laptops they can repurpose for resident use. The Activities Department is working diligently to help residents connect with loved ones using this method. Please contact your facility directly to set up a phone or video appointment.

We thank you for your cooperation and we will be reevaluating our visitor policy daily based on information received by the CDC and DPH. We assure you that your loved one’s health, safety, and well-being is of the utmost importance and encourage you to reach out to your facility with any questions.
