The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with and carries out activities of daily living for residents/patients i.e. washing, dressing, toileting, oral care, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transfers, etc. Observes and reports changes in residents'/patients' condition, behavior, or mental status to nurse. Assists with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of resident/patient room. Able to establish priorities, organize work and participate in the care planning process. Provides resident/patient specific information to the interdisciplinary team to assist with assessment and care planning and evaluation of progress towards goals.
Must be dependable and have a warm, caring patient focused attitude and be a good team player. Must be certified in the state of MA as a nursing assistant. CPR certification preferred.
