Rosewood
Wins Quality Award from MassPro
January
3, 2005 — MassPro, the Medicare quality improvement
organization, honored Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center
in Peabody for its achievement in quality nursing care.
At a December meeting, Rosewood was one of only 26 facilities
statewide recognized for having demonstrated significant
improvements in several specific areas, notably pain management
and pressure sores.
Rosewood Executive Director Paul Mahoney hailed the recognition
by praising the facility’s nursing team. “We
are thrilled to be recognized by MassPro for our efforts,
and we will continue to work with them to be a leader
in quality care. Our licensed nurses and certified assistants
are committed to this important work. It is gratifying
to be cited for success, but quality care is a something
that continues every day. Quality improvement and quality
care continue day in and day out. That is our mission.”
Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center is managed
by BaneCare Management of Salem, MA, and is owned by Alliance
Health of Massachusetts, a Newton, MA non-profit organization.
Under the leadership of company CEO Richard Bane, BaneCare
Management has been providing quality long-term care services
to the North Shore for over 45 years.
